Results of CWA Presidential Poll are in......

 

 

Here is the 2nd Quarter, 2008 Surplus for Tennessee.

 

In Nashville, AT&T  has declared surplus two Central Office Frame Attendants. Also declared surplus are two Switching Equipment Technicians, Central Office—Power.

 

This is an “economic” surplus under the Contract.

 

In Knoxville, AT&T has declared  surplus two Customer Service Associates, Federal Government-Customer Care Sales & Sales Support. This is a “Technological-Operational Efficiency” surplus under the Contract. Also declared surplus are two Electronic Technicians, Central Office—4 Wall. This is an “economic” surplus under the Contract.

 

The off payroll date for all these individuals is 6-28-2008.

 

Your Local will be assisting these four individuals in Nashville to ensure their contractual rights are observed.

Presidents Endorse Noah Savant for

Re-election as

District 3

Vice President

 

CWA Local Presidents across Tennessee unanimously

endorse Noah Savant for District 3 Vice President. His proven leadership will be needed during the 2009 AT&T Bargaining. The election for the Union’s national officers and Executive Board will be this June during the National Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.
